MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE HEAVY EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

Our client, a UK/Canada based Engineering Consultancy, is currently involved in a joint venture on the Great Man Made River Project in Libya, producing concrete water pipeline, pipe manufacturing and construction of associated infrastructure. They currently require a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for their plant in Libya. Candidates should have extensive experience in heavy industrial equipment, and will be responsible for managing a team of Technicians in the maintenance of pipe making equipment. Our client has responsibility for heavy equipment maintenance (cranes, fork-lifts, trucks etc), utilities (water treatment, ice plant, effluent treatment etc.) stores management and concrete technology related to the pipe manufacturing process. Our client will provide negotiable local tax free salary, sole occupancy accommodation with en-suite and full messing facilities, life and medical insurance, four paid leaves totaling 73 days per annum, air tickets and local transportation.
